Proposed SoP Development Strategy 2030

Executive Summary

As the national mapping and geospatial authority, SoP plays a central role in providing accurate, authoritative and reliable spatial data to support national development, security and governance. However, the rapid global shift toward geospatial intelligence, smart mapping and digital governance has highlighted the urgent need for SoP to modernize its equipment, infrastructure, systems and human capacity.

SoP Development Strategy 2030 outlines a comprehensive roadmap to transform SoP into a world-class geospatial organization, capable of serving the Government of Pakistan, the private sector and citizens through high-quality, interoperable and real-time geospatial information. It describes the shared Vision, Mission, Strategic Goals and Pillars for modernization of the organization
