Meet with Rector NUTECH

Surveyor General of Pakistan met with Rector National University of Technology (NUTECH) and discussed possibilities to explore avenues for institutional collaboration in capacity building of Survey Training Institute (STI) along with possible areas of applied research and geospatial innovation which can benefit SoP. NUTECH, being the lead university for technical training in the country, can assist STI in increasing the number and upgrading the curricula of its short courses. This can further be expanded to introduce new Diploma courses and institutional support from NUTECH to tap into foreign academic resources in future. SoP team will soon visit NUTECH to discuss in detail the nature and extent of this collaboration before the same is formalized by both organizations
